Think, problem solve, create
Our 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s are creative and love to draw, paint, glue, and generally get involved in creating unique pieces of art either individually or in groups of any size.

“Children develop creativity, social skills and fine motor skills with open-ended art projects where they can make choices, use their imaginations, and create with their hands” (NAEYC).

Here is how we celebrated Artsy Thursday:
We decorated binoculars that we made on Wednesday, we made a group finger painting to which we added collage items, we had an art filled day with dot art, collage and Spirograph art (a huge hit, the circles will be positioned to make a large classroom caterpillar), and we observed real glass vases and drew our own vases.
